How did your education benefit you and prepare you for your future?
Blanchet prepared me very well for college and life outside of school. Thanks the to the support I received daily, it has taught me that I can truly do anything in my life if I put my mind to it.
What was your favorite part of attending Salem’s Catholic schools?
The people that I was surrounded by was the best part of the schools. When you’re surrounded by like-minded people who have your best interests in mind, you can achieve anything.
What aspect of your education had the biggest impact on you?
Blanchet taught me how to make school easier. I was taught how to study the right way for each class which gave me a huge advantage in college where many did not have the same skills.
What made your education unique?
What is really unique about Catholic school is the teachers really care about their students. When they are connected by the classroom and having the same faith. It sets the education experience far above any other learning experience I have received.
What opportunities were available at your school(s) that would not have been available elsewhere?
It gave me a place where I could practice my faith with my friends and family on a daily basis.
What was the greatest benefit of your Catholic education and how did it impact you?
It gave me a more holistic approach to my life. It combined many parts of my life together. My family, education, faith, and athletics were all under one roof.
What do you wish people knew about Catholic education in Salem?
It’s not just for Catholics. It for everyone who wants to get a fantastic education and set them up for the rest of their life.
Why would you encourage others to attend one of Salem’s Catholic schools?
It a great and safe environment to learn.
